Vizag symbolises rise of India: US diplomat

Visakhapatnam: Visakhapatnam, popularly called Vizag and City of Destiny shared remarkable geographical similarities like San Francisco's economic significance, according to Jennifer Larson, Consul General, US Consulate General, Hyderabad.
She was speaking at a session on 'Destination Visakhapatnam: The Growth Hub of India’ organised by CII coinciding with the annual meeting of CII Visakhapatnam zone. Earlier, Managing Partner of Integral Trading and Logistics Grandhi Rajesh was appointed as the Visakhapatnam zone chairman, Dr M Lakshmi Prasad, chairman, CII Andhra Pradesh announced new office-bearers of CII Visakhapatnam zone for 2024-25 Rajesh was earlier the vice chairman of the zone. The new vice chairman will be V Ajay Kumar, Managing Director, Vijay Nirman Company Pvt Ltd.
